Law Studies
Students participating in the Law Studies continuum (Introduction to Legal Studies, Criminal Justice and Street Law) learn the foundations of our legal system while developing an understanding of how those foundations continue to shape and guide our society today. Students learn about some of the most famous and controversial cases in history and will have the opportunity to come to their own conclusions about the outcomes of those cases. This program allows students to gain skills and experiences such as mock trial participation, which will help them prepare for careers as attorneys and more! Students have the opportunity to earn high school credit for these courses. They also learn about and participate in debates through our partnership with Rollins College.
